The boat is a 23ft. Mako and is custom rigged with Raytheon electronics and an auto pilot. It has a t-top and full curtains with stereo, vhf, all safety equipment and custom tackle. A highly respected boat with a history of seaworthiness and comfort. Powered with a 225 4 stroke Yamaha it is fast and efficient.
We specialize in trolling for Spanish and kings along the beach also fishing for cobia, mahi-mahi and sailfish. Our trips will be designed for the beginner as well as the avid fisherman with experience.
As for me, I was born and raised at the beach, starting at an early age boating and fishing around the sounds and local area. I have worked in the marine industry for 30 years as well as starting FORTUNE HUNTER CHARTERS in 1983 with the first purchase of a small charter boat. I have commercial fished and paid my dues on the back deck of numerous boats and also delivered boats up and down the coast. I have a much laid back personality with the patience of letting the charter have all the hands on they would like to take hold of. I have held a captains license for 25 years and have a lot of time on the water running hundreds of charters over the years. The personal satisfaction I get from this business is watching kids as well adults experience their first catch or just trolling along seeing the sights and taking in the surrounding area.
