Captain Jimmy Vass is the owner and operator of Fortune Hunter Charters. He has been in the charter business for over 25 years and prides himself on making certain his fishing friends have a great time on the water. A lifetime resident of the Wilmington area, Capt. Jimmy has vast knowledge of the local fishing.
Capt. Jimmy’s boat, the Fortune Hunter is a 23’ Jones Brother Bateau, custom rigged with everything needed for a safe and fun fishing trip. The quiet 115 HP four stoke Yamaha engine is dependable and gives off no offensive odors. Other equipment on the Fortune Hunter include a Raymarine Fish Finder and Plotter, Icom VHF, stereo, and a T-top for shade and comfort. All quality fishing equipment is provided along with tackle, bait and ice. You need bring only your food and drink and a smile. Fishing is done with light tackle for your enjoyment. The boat is located a Seapath Yacht Club, Wrightsville Beach, NC. Seapath is a private marina and one of the finest on the east coats; a first class location to begin your first class fishing trip. Capt. Jimmy is a fully licensed by the U.S.C.G.
